Description
Ultimate Realistic Rock by drumming legend Carmine Appice is one of the best-selling drum set method books in rock drumming history. In addition to information on fundamental rock rhythms and polyrhythms, this book also includes studies for linear rudiments and groupings, hi-hat and double bass drum exercises, shuffle rhythms, and syncopation exercises.
The two companion CDs include play-along tracks and audio examples that correspond with the sections on odd-time signatures, hand/feet combinations, and rave/dance drumming.
This book was voted among the top 25 best drum methods by a poll in the Modern Drummer magazine.
