About theJuice Goose SCV-15001 1500VA / 1350W SCV Series On-Line Double-Conversion Rackmount UPS
The Juice Goose SCV-15001 is a robust, rack-mountable online uninterruptible power supply (UPS) engineered to provide flawless power protection and continuity for critical electronic systems in professional environments. Utilizing true online double-conversion technology, this unit continuously converts incoming AC power to DC and then regenerates a clean, stable, and precise pure sine wave AC output. This process ensures complete isolation from all common power grid disturbances, including blackouts, brownouts, sags, surges, spikes, and electrical noise. With a 1500VA/1350W capacity, it is designed to support significant loads in server racks, broadcast control rooms, advanced AV systems, and telecommunications installations, safeguarding sensitive equipment from data corruption, hardware stress, and operational interruptions.A hallmark of the SCV series is its pure sine wave output, which is essential for the safe and efficient operation of modern electronics with active power factor correction (PFC) power supplies, such as servers, networking gear, and high-end audio/video processors. The unit features hot-swappable, user-replaceable batteries and supports external battery packs to greatly extend runtime during prolonged power failures. An intuitive LCD interface provides real-time status on input/output voltage, load percentage, battery charge, and estimated remaining runtime. For advanced system integration, it offers communication ports like USB and an optional network management card slot, enabling remote monitoring, configuration, and automated graceful shutdown of protected equipment via network protocols.Housed in a durable 2U steel rack-mountable chassis, the SCV-15001 is built for 24/7 reliability. It includes a bank of battery-backed and surge-protected outlets to power essential devices. By combining industrial-grade online power conditioning with pure sine wave output, scalable battery options, and intelligent management, the Juice Goose SCV-15001 delivers a comprehensive power integrity solution, forming a critical layer of infrastructure for any application where clean, continuous, and reliable power is non-negotiable.
